Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on 6/17/2025.
At Sober Sisters in the City, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all women seeking support and connection in their journey to sobriety. Our goal is to ensure that every member feels welcome and valued, regardless of their background or abilities.
Accessibility Features:
- Locations: We strive to choose venues that are accessible to all. This includes wheelchair access, accessible parking, and restrooms. If you have specific needs regarding venue accessibility, please reach out to us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
- Free Events:All our events are free of charge, allowing everyone to join as long as we can secure enough donations to cover our costs. We believe that financial constraints should not prevent anyone from accessing support and community.
- Communication: We provide clear and concise information about our events, including details on accessibility. If you require materials in alternative formats or have specific communication needs, please let us know.
- Support: We encourage an environment of support and understanding. If you have any concerns about our events or need assistance during our meetups, please feel free to approach a group leader or member for help.
- Feedback: We welcome feedback from our members on how we can improve our accessibility efforts. Your input is invaluable in helping us create a supportive and inclusive space for everyone.
Our commitment to accessibility reflects our belief that every woman deserves the opportunity to connect, share, and grow in a sober community. Thank you for being a part of Sober Sisters in the City. Together, we can support each other in our journeys towards wellness and sobriety
